Mostly cloudy skies are expected today with a slight chance of precipitation. This weekend temperatures are still staying 10 to 20 degrees below our seasonal average with 3-6" of snow accumulation estimated along the continental divide.
An upcoming storm mostly focused on the southwestern area of Colorado will have wind speeds up to 65 mph. Some area like the San Juans could get up to 3' of snow accumulation. The grand valley is only expecting rainfall throughout this unsettled weather.
A dense fog advisory and winter storm warning are active this morning in the grand valley. Less than 1" of rain accumulation can be expected in Grand Junction and Montrose, but the higher regions could get up to 15" of snowfall.
