Temperatures have slightly increased compared to yesterday with partly cloudy skies expected today. A slight increase in temperatures will happen on Wednesday, but a low-pressure system bringing storms is on the way for the end of the work week.
Temperatures are continuing to be 10-25 degrees below our seasonal average along the western slope. The snowfall the western slope is experiencing today will melt but return with similar amounts of accumulation in the late work week.
Temperatures 10 to 20 degrees below average are still sticking around on the western slope. Unsettled weather looks to continue to be the pattern for us here on the western slope as well.
A winter weather advisory is in effect in Mesa County at least until early Saturday morning. The mountainous areas can expect 3-6" of snowfall this evening with temperatures 10 to 20 degrees below our seasonal average.
