Cooler than average temperatures are expected today and into the mid workweek, but the western slope does have a slow warm-up on the way taking us into the weekend. Another trough is on the way, while unsettled weather patterns could be sticking around.

Winter storms are expected in the early work week for the western slope and the higher elevation areas. Until then, expect seasonably average temperatures on the western slope with overcast skies.
