We are seeing a very cold start to the day on the Western Slope. Morning lows for the Grand Valley are currently in the mid 20s with teens over the higher elevations. Light scattered snow showers will continue to dot the high country for the morning and afternoon, but the valleys will be staying dry. High temperatures will be 15-20 degrees below normal for the day. Gusty winds will make a return this afternoon with sustained winds expected to be around 25mph for the afternoon. We will see a slightly warmer morning tomorrow on the Western Slope, but low temperatures will still be well below freezing for the region. Warmer temperatures will start to move in tomorrow afternoon, but we will not return to our normal springtime temperatures until Friday and Saturday.
