We will see cooler morning lows today thanks to the cold front that passed through yesterday afternoon. The lower valleys stayed dry during the overnight hours, but showers lingered around in the Divide. Today we will see showers over the high country as the lower valleys will stay mostly dry. What showers we do see will be lighter that what we saw yesterday. As we turn to Saturday we will see a weak upper level trough move through the southern parts of the Western Slope. This will bring in chances for some afternoon Thunderstorms near Montrose. Skies will clear up by the end of the weekend. Highs are expected to return to above average levels by the middle of next week.
