We will see cloudy skies to start our day off on the Western Slope. These cloudy skies will cause our morning lows to be a little warmer than yesterday morning. Cloudy skies will stick around for the afternoon hours. Southerly flow will push in moist warm air from the south causing us to see chances for scattered showers at the higher elevations for the afternoon. A stationary front will develop over the region for Thursday bringing higher chances for showers at the higher elevations, and even a few showers in the lower valley. this front will leave the Western Slope on Friday and we will see drier weather for the weekend. Temperatures will steadily warm up as we move through the week, and highs will warm up to the 80s for some of the lower valleys by the end of the weekend.
