Morning lows are expected to be a tad bit cooler today. Skies slightly cleared up and we stayed mostly dry through the overnight hours. We saw faint chances for light snow showers over near Aspen overnight, but the rest of the region will be dry. This afternoon will be very similar to yesterday. High temperatures will be mostly in the 50s and 60s again and we will see isolated showers. These showers will be even lighter than yesterday’s, and we will see a mostly dry weekend. An upper level ridge will build up for Saturday and Sunday causing highs to climb up to the 70s for the lower valleys. This warmer weather will not last for long as a cold front will bring in more rain chances and below average temperatures at the start of next week.
