Get ready for a rainy Tuesday over the Western Slope. A strong cold front will pass through the region taking advantage of all the moisture that moved in yesterday. Morning lows are expected to still be warmer than our averages. Afternoon highs will be 20 degrees cooler than what we saw today. There will be 40% rain chances for the morning hours in the lower valleys and these will increase up to a 60% for the afternoon. We will see higher rain chances at the higher elevations. These showers are expected to last into Wednesday morning. After the front passes high pressure will quickly return to the area causing highs to warm up again. Clear skies will reign over the Western Slope for the end of the work week and we will see highs in the 70s by Thursday.
