Saturday afternoon temperatures could reach near record levels for a few locations and those record sets/ties could linger through Monday for the lower elevations. A cold front will be sweeping though Tuesday and ahead of that weather feature on Monday, the temperatures and the wind speeds will increase. There is a Fire Weather Watch and the possibility exists for an upgrade to a Red Flag Warning Monday. Be very mindful of machinery that sparks or open flames during the beginning of next week. Wildfires could spread quickly threatening lives and property under the dry, warm and windy conditions. The Tuesday cold/cool front will knock our highs down 10 degrees, but they are still expected to stay warmer than our averages in the 60s and 70s for next week.
