Clear skies are causing us to see a very cold start to the day. Everywhere on the Western Slope is seeing freezing morning lows, and some of the higher elevations are down in the teens. Clear skies will continue to stick around, and we will start to warm up for the afternoon. An upper level ridge is moving over the Western Slope, and this ridge will push in warmer air as we head into the weekend. Highs will warm up to just below average levels in the lower 60s and upper 50s in the Grand Valley. We will see low chances for scattered showers start to creep in for Sunday, but the next big chance for rain on the Western Slope will be moving in on Tuesday of next week.
