We are seeing another clear start to the day on the Western Slope. With the clear skies morning lows are on the chillier side, but they are slightly warmer than yesterday. Clear sunny skies will continue into the afternoon, and highs will be in the lower 70s for most of the Grand Valley. Cloudier skies will start to move in over the weekend, and a cold front looks to move through late Saturday afternoon into Sunday. With this cold front we will see breezy winds return, and light showers will form over the higher elevations. The valleys look to stay dry from this weekend’s front, and highs will cool back to our averages by the Sunday. Chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms will be increasing as we move to the start of next week with the best chances for rain landing on Tuesday afternoon. Expect a mild, sunny day today with much need rain chances early next week.
