Scattered showers and thunderstorms will start to clear up overnight. We will see a few lighter shower continue into the morning near the Divide, but by the afternoon everything will clear up. Dry westerly winds will bring in sunny skies for the afternoon and the sunshine is expected to last well into next week. Highs for today will stay cool in the 60s and 70s, but they will quickly rebound as we head into the weekend. Highs will reach the 80s for the valleys over the weekend, and Grand Junction is expected to be in the 90s once we turn the corner into next week.
