We will see clear skies for most of the day on the Western Slope. High temperatures will be 2-3 degrees warmer than yesterday. Once we get to the end of the afternoon we will see partly cloudy skies build up over the higher elevations. Starting at 6pm we will see a 20% chance for light rain showers over the Divide. Chances for showers are expected to increase overnight, and will continue throughout the day on Thursday. Rain totals from this system look to be a tenth of an inch for the valleys, and a quarter of an inch at the higher elevations. Rain showers will start to clear up Thursday evening with mostly dry weather expected to return for Friday and the weekend. Thursday’s highs will drop down about 5 degrees from today across the board thanks to the rain, but they will rebound back up by Friday.
