MONTROSE COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) — The Little Mesa Fire continues to burn in the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area.
Officials reported over 200 acres of growth Thursday, reporting the wildfire at 3,677 acres and 30% contained this Friday morning.
Wind gusts on Thursday stimulated activity in the southwest region of the fire towards Dry Mesa Road.
Rain showers and thunderstorms are possible in Montrose County this weekend.
