We are seeing a windy start to the day on the Western Slope. Strong winds will persist through the rest of the day, but winds will slowly calm down for the afternoon. Thanks to a cold front moving through last night we are seeing scattered showers throughout the Western Slope right now. These showers will be clearing up as we move through the day. Highs for today will be on the cold side. Most of the Western Slope will be in the 30s for today, and cold highs will stick around for the remainder of the week. High pressure will move into the Western Slope at the end of the day which will clear our skies up overnight. With clear skies expected tonight, tomorrow morning’s lows will be in the teens for the valley and single digits over the higher elevations. There will be low chances for scattered snow shower tomorrow night into Friday morning over the higher elevations, but the valleys will stay dry.
