We can expect to see a cold day on the Western Slope. Morning lows are mostly in the teens and single digits with Gunnison at 0° at 5am this morning. Afternoon highs will be similar to yesterday with most of the region in the 30s, but spots in the Grand Valley will temporarily break into the lower 40s. We will see mostly sunny skies throughout the day with cloudier skies starting to move in for the late afternoon and evening. Scattered snow showers will move in this evening with the cloudier skies over the higher elevations. Another round of scattered showers will move in on Friday. Clear skies will move in over the weekend. Highs in the valleys will drop a few degrees over the next few days with highs in the lower to mid 30s for Friday and the weekend. We will start to warm up again as we move towards the middle of next week.
