We will see another quiet weather day on the Western Slope. We will start out with cloudier skies, but skies will clear up by the end of the day. Highs will be slightly warmer than yesterday and see more 40s on the board. Tomorrow will be another quiet day before we see unsettled weather move in by the end of the week. Starting Thursday morning we will see scattered snow showers form over the San Juans. The rest of the Western Slope will see these showers move in for the afternoon. A cold front will bring in heavier rain and snow showers Thursday night into Friday, and scattered showers will continue through the holiday weekend. The heaviest showers will be on Thursday and Friday. The Grand Valley will mostly see rain showers, but it will transition into mixed precipitation and snow for the early morning. Higher elevations will see chances for significant snowfall for Friday morning especially closer to the San Juans.
