We are seeing scattered showers all across the Western Slope this morning. Morning lows are on the warmer side thanks to overcast skies and warm southerly winds driving these showers. Highs will not be much warmer than our morning lows, and showers will continue throughout the day. The heaviest showers will form late this morning and early afternoon. The Grand Valley will see chances for thunderstorms, with higher elevations seeing thundersnow. Most of the showers will clear up overnight, but a few lighter showers will last until Christmas morning over the mountains. Christmas day will be much clearer, but another cold front will move into the Western Slope Sunday morning. We will continue to see back to back winter weather systems in the region as we head into next week. The Grand Valley will actually see chances for snow sticking as we look to the middle of next week.
