We are seeing a cold and snowy start to the day on the Western Slope. We will continue to see chances for scattered snow showers all day. The Grand Valley will only see lighter showers, but with the cold temperatures snow will actually stick to the valley floor. The higher elevations will see heavier snow showers move in for the afternoon/evening hours. We will see a break in the snowfall on Wednesday morning. One last winter weather system will move in at the end of the day Wednesday, and we will continue to see snow showers for Thursday and New Year’s Eve. An upper level ridge will give us a dry stretch of weather for the first week of 2022.
