We will see another clear start to the day on the Western Slope. The clear skies are keeping morning lows below freezing, but they are still several degrees warmer than normal. Afternoon highs will warm up to the 50s. We will be close to record highs in the valley for today. Warm and sunny conditions will persist for Friday and the weekend. As we move into next week we will see cooler temperatures move in. A major shift in our weather patter will move in on Tuesday of next week. Scattered showers will move in on Tuesday morning. The grand valley will see mostly rain showers, but we will see some mixed precipitation showers closer to Montrose at the start of the day. Higher elevations will have snow chances, and high temperatures will finally cool down to our December averages in the 40s.
