Cloudy skies have cleared up during the overnight hours over the Western Slope. The clearer night sky caused our morning lows to be much cooler than yesterday morning. We woke up to temperatures in the teens and single digits. Our afternoon highs will be similar to yesterday, but we can expect them to be warming up over the next few days. These clear skies will continue for the next few days thanks to high pressure and an upper level ridge in the area. These systems will also cause our temperatures to rise as we approach the weekend. We will see above average high temperatures for this weekend climbing up to the lower 50s and upper 40s for the valleys by the start of next week.
