We saw another clear chilly night over the Western Slope. The clear skies allowed for efficient overnight cooling and caused our morning lows to be 5 – 10 degrees cooler than normal. Today will start a warming trend. Afternoon high temperatures will climb to slightly above average and we can expect them to rise as we push into the weekend. High pressure and an upper level ridge will cause our skies to remain clear and sunny for the weekend too. A block off to our west will keep these systems in place longer than usual so we can expect sunny skies and warmer than average temperatures to continue into the middle of next week.
