February 12th Forecast

We finally saw some sunshine here on the Western Slope yesterday. Sunny skies did not last for too long as we will see wet unsettled weather move in as we headed into this morning. Cloud cover will built up overnight and rain and snow showers started bright and early. Expect to see scattered rain showers all day in the lower valleys and above 6000ft we will see snow showers. Our high and low temperatures will remain similar to what we saw yesterday with morning lows a little warmer and afternoon highs a little cooler. These showers will continue into the evening hours. Late Saturday morning we will see a little bit of dry weather before a cold front moves through. This front will bring heavier rain and snow than what we will see on Friday. As the front passes expect high temperatures to drop 10 – 15 degrees. Wide spread snow showers will continue for Sunday. Expect to see cool temperatures as we head into next week with even more unsettled weather on the way.
