We are seeing a wet cloudy day on the Western Slope. Because of our warm temperatures expect most precipitation to fall in the form of rain. As we move into the evening hours we will start to see rain transition into mixed precipitation and snow for the higher elevations. Chances for snow showers will dry up as we move through the overnight hours before a cold front picks up where the upper level trough left off. We will see wide spread rain and snow showers starting tomorrow afternoon extending into Sunday morning. As this front passes we will see high temperatures drop 10 – 15 degrees from Saturday into Sunday. Showers will dry up by Sunday evening and we will see a little bit of dry weather before the next system arrives on Monday night. The Monday – Tuesday system will be short lived and we will see dry weather for Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
