We saw widespread scattered snow showers tonight in the Western Slope. These scattered showers heavily favored the higher elevations. Some snow showers may move into the lower valleys, but they will at most only see a dusting to an inch. The cloudy skies kept our morning lows near their seasonal averages. Cool temperatures will stick around for the afternoon hours with highs not expected to be much warmer than yesterday. The lower valleys will see their snow chances drop down to zero percent by noon tomorrow and chances for them at the higher elevations will dramatically decrease. We will see cool temperatures and spotty snow showers at the higher elevations from this afternoon all the way into Friday.
