Cloudy skies moved in during the overnight hours. These cloudier skies will cause our morning lows to be a little warmer than what we woke up to yesterday morning. A cold front will be moving through during the afternoon. This front will bring rain showers for the lower valleys and snow at the higher elevations. We are expecting to see 3 – 5 inches of snow possible in the high country, and snow showers will favor the northern mountains. High temperatures will be warmer for tomorrow, but will drop 5 – 10 degrees for Sunday. Snow showers will be short lived and we can expect to see clear sunny skies for Sunday afternoon. We will see warmer temperatures for the start of next week with some of the lower valleys climbing up to the lower 50s by Tuesday. Once we get to the middle of next week we will see the first of several snow systems pass through the Western Slope.
