Clear skies continued into the overnight hours. Flow shifted from northwesterly to westerly during the overnight hours causing our morning lows to be warmer than yesterday’s. Today’s afternoon highs will be close to 5 degrees warmer across the board. Late this afternoon we will see a cold front move through the region. This front will cause highs to cool down as we move into Wednesday and Thursday. We will also see chances for isolated showers favoring the high country from Wednesday into the weekend. Another frontal system will move through Saturday into Sunday. This system will be stronger, but that isn’t saying much. We will see more consistent rain and snow chances, but that will still cap at 20% for the lower valleys. Expect to see a dry week ahead.
