We will see a dry start to the day on the Western Slope. An upper level ridge will begin to build up over the region causing our high temperatures to warm up to the 80s for the valleys. Lingering moisture will drive chances for afternoon scattered showers. These afternoon showers will favor the higher elevations and will be much lighter than what we saw on Wednesday. The ridge will strengthen over the weekend causing highs to continue warming and the remaining rain chances to dry out. Sunny skies will carry through the weekend and into next week as summer time temperatures in the 90s for the valleys return for Monday of next week.
