Today will be a little cooler than yesterday thanks to a cold front that moved through the overnight hours. Light scattered snow showers will dot higher elevations in the Elkhead, and Park ranges this morning. After sunrise we will see some of the showers drift southward towards the Divide, and Flattops. Snow totals from this system will be extremely low with 1-3 inches possible above 9000 feet.

Valleys look to stay dry from the system. All the showers will clear up by the end of the afternoon. As we move into the evening hours cold northerly winds will bring in clear skies overnight. Highs for Saturday will drop down into the 30s, but we will return to the 40s in the valley by Sunday. Clear skies and dry weather are expected for this weekend, and will continue into next week.
