We will see a clear and dry morning and afternoon on the Western Slope. Highs for the day will be more than 5 degrees above normal in the valleys. Higher elevations will be a little cooler, but still above normal. An upper-level trough will move through the Western Slope overnight tonight into early tomorrow morning. As this trough passes we will see showers over the higher elevations.
Snow chances will be in the single digits for the valleys due to low moisture content. The higher elevations will see much higher chances for these snow showers, but snow totals will be even less than what we saw last Friday. Cold, dry northerly winds will clear skies up for Wednesday this week, and highs will drop to the 30s in the valleys for the next few days.
