We are seeing clearer skies than yesterday, and that’s causing our morning lows to be around 4 degrees cooler in the valley. Skies will continue to clear up after sunrise, and we will see highs reach the 40s for this afternoon. Cloud cover will linger around the Divide a little longer, but by the afternoon everyone will see mostly sunny skies. Cloud cover will build back up overnight, and early tomorrow morning the tail end of a cold front will clip the Western Slope. This snow system will bring in chances for some light morning snow showers in the valleys on Saturday morning, and some moderate snow showers over the Divide. Peak snow totals look to be at the 6 inch mark by the Divide, and the valleys will trace to an inch. All of the showers will clear up by the end of the afternoon. High pressure will bring in dry weather to close out the weekend.
