Clearer skies will cause us to see chilly morning lows in the Western Slope. These clear skies will last us through the afternoon hours as well. Thanks to an upper level ridge above us, the warming trend will continue. Afternoon highs will climb up to the lower 40s for the lower valleys and some locations will even see some mid 40s. Temperatures will continue to warm up as we head into the weekend. Saturday morning the upper level ridge will finally leave the Western Slope bringing the warming trend to a close. As a result cloudier skies and scattered snows showers are possible for the higher elevations. These snow showers will wrap up by afternoon hours and we will see mostly dry weather for the weekend. A cold front will push through at the start of next week bringing more snow chances and cool our highs to slight below average.
