Cloudier skies caused morning lows to be much warmer this morning. Skies will be clearing up as we move through the day for the Grand Valley. The central parts of the Divide, Elk and Park ranges will continue to see light to moderate snow showers through the rest of the day. The Grand Valley will see the slimmest chance for a stray shower to wonder in this afternoon. Highs will be warming up as temperature inversions break down. We will continue to see poor road conditions over the mountains thanks to snow showers, and high winds. While all the showers will be lighter today than yesterday white out conditions will still be possible over the mountain roads for parts of the day. These showers will start to clear up this evening, and everywhere in Colorado will see a dry day on Friday to close out the week. A weak band of snow showers will move through Saturday morning/early afternoon. These showers will be on the lighter side, and we will see clear skies to close out the weekend. Highs for the end of the weekend into next week look to be in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
