This morning’s lows will be slightly cooler than yesterday thanks to partly cloudy skies overnight. We can expect to see a dry morning thanks to scattered thunderstorms clearing up overnight. Lower valleys can expect to see drier weather move in. The higher elevations will see chances for pop up seasonal pop up afternoon thunderstorms. These storms will be much weaker than what we saw today and yesterday thanks to a mid level shortwave migrating eastward. High temperatures will be around our averages in the mid 90s for the valleys and 80s over most of the western slope. Rain chances will dry up as we head into he weekend, and highs will increase along with them. Highs will be back in the triple digits in Grand Junction by Sunday. Rain chances will start to return to the region by Tuesday of next week.
