Tomorrow morning lows will be slightly warmer thanks to partly cloudy skies. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms are expected to pop up over the high country. The thunderstorms will favor the central parts of the Divide. High temperatures will be near our averages in the 90s for the valleys, but they will gradually warm up as we head towards the weekend. The hottest day is looking to be Sunday with Grand Junction expected to return to the triple digits. Rain chances will also start to dry up as we move into the weekend. Higher elevations will have low chances for pop up afternoon thunderstorms, but the lower valleys will be dry. Rain chances will build up again by the middle of next week. Once the rain chances return expect to see high temperatures start to drop back down to our averages by Wednesday.
