July 17th Forecast

We will see partly cloudy skies over the valleys with clearer skies over the higher elevations. Morning lows will once again be closer to our averages. As we head into the afternoon hours we will see skies clear up over the valleys with partly cloudy skies over the high country. The lower valleys will be dry for the next few days while pop up scattered thunderstorms will show up closer to the Divide and in the San Juans for the latter parts of the afternoon. These storms are only expected to bring in gustier winds and not much rainfall. As we head through the weekend rain chances will decrease and highs will increase. We will see triple digits in the valleys once again on Sunday. Rain chances will steadily build up as we head through next week with the best chances for rain landing on Wednesday and Thursday. As rain chances build back up we can expect to see highs drop back to our averages by the middle of next week.
