July 22nd Forecast

Scattered thunderstorms cleared up overnight. We will see morning lows continue to slightly cool down with partly cloudy skies for tomorrow morning. Isolated thunderstorms will pop back up in the afternoon. These storms will continue to favor the Divide and the San Juans, but could pop up over any of the higher elevations. Heavier rain showers passing over burn scars could cause flooding so be prepared for possible closures tomorrow afternoon. Chances for rain and thunderstorms will increase as we head towards the weekend. The heaviest showers are expected to fall on Friday and Saturday. Chances for afternoon thunderstorms will carry into next week, but they will get weaker as time goes on. Highs expected to finally drop to below average by the time we get to the end of the weekend.
