July 23rd Forecast

Isolated thunderstorms cleared up overnight. We will see a partly cloudy to mostly clear start to the day with thunderstorms returning in the afternoon. High temperatures will range from average to slightly below average thanks to afternoon showers. The heaviest rain is expected to fall at the end of the afternoon and early in the evening. Storms will continue to favor the higher terrain to the south and near the Divide. Flash flooding will be possible due to heavy rain showers passing over burn scars so prepare for possible road closers. As we head into the weekend we will see chances for afternoon thunderstorms slowly tick down. The two driest days will be Sunday and Monday of next week, but both of those days will see chances for some showers to fall even in the valleys.
