Morning lows will stay on the warmer side of our averages despite the mostly clear skies overnight. We will once again be dry through the morning hours, but as we head into the afternoon we will see chances for pop up thunderstorms over the higher elevations. These storms will be weaker than what we saw yesterday, and will be getting weaker the further we push through the week. High temperatures will stay 5 – 10 degrees above normal, but they will be slightly cooler. Hot near record highs will continue for the rest of the work week. The lower valleys will be dry for the next few days, but the higher terrain will see chances for rain showers and pop up thunderstorms. By the middle of the week most of the pop up thunderstorms will be dry and primarily only bringing lightning and gusty winds.
