We will see cloud free skies during the overnight hours. We will still see smoke settle in the valleys. Morning lows will be warmer than what we woke up to yesterday morning. We will continue to see smoky skies from Utah’s wildfires this afternoon. Today will mark the first day of a heat wave that will hit the Western Slope. Expect to see some of the lower valleys hit the triple digits, and we will see even hotter temperatures for next week. Rain chances will stay at zero percent through the weekend and the start of next week. We will see moisture gradually build up through the week, and this will fuel light rain chances for the end of next week. Whatever rain showers we see will tend to be on the lighter side. If we do see these lighter rain showers we will cool down significantly, but if we stay dry we can expect to see more hot weather for next weekend.
