Skies will clear up for the overnight hours on the Western Slope. These clearer skies will cause our morning lows to be on the cooler side. Expect to see a much clearer day today. We will start off with mostly clear skies, but we will build up to partly cloudy by the afternoon. The lower valleys are expected to stay dry for the rest of the work week, but we will see light chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms over the high country. High temperatures are expected to warm up as we move through the week. We will see highs in the 90s in Grand Junction by Wednesday, and we will potentially see the upper 90s by Friday. Expect a hot and dry week in the region.
