June 23rd Forecast

Partly cloudy skies will cause morning lows to be a little warmer this morning. This additional cloud cover will keep our afternoon highs from reaching our records. Gusty winds will return for the afternoon hours. Once we start moving into the evening we will see chances for scattered thunderstorms hit the high country. These storms will be mostly dry, but a few showers will reach the ground. Chances for these showers will continue through the overnight hours. The best chance for measurable rainfall will be on Thursday morning. Once we get into the afternoon hours the rain showers will mostly dry up, but scattered thunderstorms will persist. Rain chances will return for Friday afternoon before they completely dry up over the weekend. Afternoon highs will cool down to our seasonal normals for the end of the work week.
