June 24th Early Morning Forecast

We will see scattered thunderstorms continue through the overnight hours. These storms will mainly stay over the high country, but we will see a few drift into the valleys. A few light rain showers will accompany the storms, but mostly we will just see lightning and gusty winds. Best shot for rain showers will fall late Thursday morning and early afternoon. The lower valleys will see a 40% chance and the higher elevations can expect a 70% chance. Rain totals are expected to stay on the lighter end, but whatever rain we see will help with our drought. Scattered thunderstorms will light showers will return for Friday afternoon, but most the rain will clear up by the weekend. Highs will dip down to the 80s for the valley to close out the work week. As the rain chances dry out we will see our highs warm back up for next week.
