June 24th Forecast

We will see more scattered thunderstorms today on the Western Slope. These storms will mostly just bring in strong winds and lightning, but we could see a few rain showers reach the ground. Morning low temperatures will stay on the warmer side, but our afternoon highs will drop to below average for the first time this month. The best shot to see rain will be around 2pm this afternoon. The rain will clear up by the end of the evening, but gusty winds and dry thunderstorms will continue. Rain chances will return for Friday and Saturday afternoon. Once we head into the end of the weekend rain chances will mostly clear up. High temperatures will warm back up to the 90s for the valleys as we head into the start of next week.
