Scattered thunderstorms and gusty winds will continue through the overnight hours. Rain will mostly clear up overnight, but there will be light chances for a drizzle at the higher elevations. Moderate to heavy rain will return to the high country this afternoon. Lower valleys could see a tenth of an inch. Highs will stay cool and below average in the 80s for the valleys and 70s higher up. Heaviest rain will fall after 2pm and the showers will clear up overnight. Showers will return on Saturday, but they will be much lighter than what we will see today and tomorrow. As we head into the end of the weekend northern parts of the Western Slope will stay dry with gusty winds, but closer to the San Juans we will see 40 – 50% rain chances. High temperatures will rebound back to the 90s for the valleys as we head into next week.
