Scattered mountain showers passed through for the evening hours last night. All of these showers dried out by 11pm, and skies cleared up overnight. Morning lows will once again be in the upper 50s to lower 60s for the Grand Valley. High temperatures will be similar to what we saw for the work week. Moist southwesterly flow has returned to the Western Slope. This will cause chances for pop up afternoon thunderstorms to dramatically increase. The heaviest rain showers will form over the higher elevations, and the more southern parts of the Western Slope. Still all of the showers look to clear up during the overnight hours. Chances for afternoon storms will continue into next week, but we will be dry for the morning hours.
