Cool temperatures will continue to stick around on the Western Slope. Light rain showers will creep in from the south during the early morning hours. Once we get into the afternoon we will see widespread scattered thunderstorm move in. These storms will bring heavier rain to the San Juan mountains and the central parts of the Divide. Lighter rain showers will form to the north, and a few light showers may reach the valley floors. Rain totals are looking like a few hundredths of an inch in the valleys and to the north with two tenths of an inch expected in Aspen, Gunnison and the San Juans. Wednesday will be extremely similar to what we see tomorrow, but showers will clear up earlier during the evening. Rain chances in northern parts of the Western Slope will clear up at the end of the week, but light afternoon scattered showers will continue to dot the mountains to our south.
