June 4th Forecast

We will see another round of warm morning lows on the Western Slope. Today is expected to be the hottest day of the week. High temperatures will mostly be in the 90s and Moab may break triple digits for the first time this year. Rain chances will stay out of the valleys, and the high country will see low chances for pop up afternoon showers. A passing short wave will cause us to see a slight up tick in showers and breezy winds for the weekend. Lower valleys will see between a 10% and 20% chance for light afternoon showers, and we will have isolated thunderstorms in the high country. High temperatures will cool down slightly for the weekend with highs still in the 90s for the valleys, but not pushing triple digits. High pressure and our upper level ridge will stick around for next week causing us to continue to see hot and dry weather on the Western Slope.
