Clear skies will stay above the Western Slope. Despite the clear skies morning lows will stay on the warmer side. High pressure and an upper level ridge will keep our temperatures warm for the next few days. Rain chances will stay near zero percent even over the higher elevations. We will see the ridge tighten over the next few days causing us to see breezy winds for Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures will be in the 80s and 90s for the work week with the coolest days expected to be Thursday and Friday. When we get to the weekend we will see high temperatures climb up close to record breaking levels. Grand Junction could see its first day with triple digit temperatures of the year on Sunday. Hot and Sunny conditions will continue well into next week.
