We will see cooler morning lows on the Western Slope thanks to our dewpoints dropping as we dry out. Expect dry weather to continue as the upper level ridge that is causing this hot and dry weather is not going anywhere. Highs will mostly be in the 90s for the valleys, and we will see 80s in the high country. Rain chances will stay out of the picture and breezy winds will stick around for the afternoon. We will see the strongest winds on Thursday, but we will see Red Flag Warnings issued for the whole week. The ridge will strengthen over the weekend causing highs to climb to near record breaking levels. Grand Junction could see its first day in the triple digits on Sunday, and these scorching temperatures will continue into next week.
